Developing self-confidence;
Achieving a strong mind;
Correct conflict management, without aggression;
Gaining determination, transforming age-specific curiosity into learning flexibility and the ability to put intentions and plans into action;
A correct posture, which determines a healthy body through correct physical exercises;
Gentleness towards oneself, towards one's own mistakes and understanding towards others;
Discipline, respect and responsibility, the dojo being a space of mutual respect, where clear etiquette is applied during classes.
About Ki Aikido
Ki Aikido is a Japanese martial art that emphasizes harmony between mind and body, developing coordination, self-control and calmness in stressful situations. Created by Koichi Tohei Sensei, it integrates simple and positive principles, coordination tests and movement exercises, allowing practice without physical force or aggression. Through movement and concentration exercises, it helps improve the state of calm, in any situation.
Unlike other martial arts, Ki Aikido is a non-aggressive art, aiming to maintain balance at every moment. Training includes exercises, tests, breathing techniques and meditation developing inner calm, self-confidence and determination. Thus, Ki Aikido becomes not only a physical discipline, but also a philosophy with benefits in everyday life.
